Man it's been a long time. I've missed you guys. Sorry for not visiting or posting the forum for while now. I just needed a long break from games.


I see you guys are keeping DI alive. That's awesome, im proud of you guys. As long as you have respect for one another, DI will always be your family. I'm glad you guys are all getting along nicely.

Pra man incredible dude, long time no see, mate we need you, the guild is not working fine, its fcked up, everyone splitted on different private servers, we need to establish our home somewhere. extra and some of the guys made the guild on magic but not too many DI ppl, i just miss those mmorpg days ffs.
at least some tips about rising the morale of our men or something. truth is that my internet is fcked up and i hope ill get on as quickly as i can. damn long time <3 man

Ok, here are some tips that i use on guild leadership. By no means, it's in order but it's a good start.


Find the root of the problem and extingquish it. Instill the guild's cornerstone with respect, like mindedness, and friendship.

• A leader’s role is to motivate and hold the team/guild together and uphold guild values
• Being a leader/high ranking officer doesn’t mean you command; it means you make decisions that benefits the majority of the guild and up hold the guild rules.
• You must be understanding to each situation
• You have to be a problem solver that everyone or the majority can benefit
• Respect must be earned and encouraged
• Build your team/guild based on friendship – anyone who doesn’t respect that, kick them.
• Anyone who disrupts the harmony of the guild are a liability, meaning they are no use to the guild. There's no point in being in a guild if people don’t share the same values and cause conflicts
• It's very important to do things together as a guild
• Recruit people who think and act like you or like minded.
• If you are a leader and cant find a middle ground to a problem. Ask other high ranking members/former guild leaders for consults OR get a majority vote and see what they have to say. And from that you can decide on a course of action
• Every member is important and must return the respect being given. Listen to their concerns.
• Reward those who are loyal and cares for the guild
• Important, if you want the guild to work or run smoothly: Look for quality members (recruits) not quantity.

Tip: if your goal is quantity, meaning you just want alot of members. Then, expect conflict and disloyalty. If that's the case then do one or both of the following 1. recruit girls (good looking girls) and the rest will follow. 2. Recruit superstars or leet players on the server. (people tend to follow the best players or guild).

ok so i talked enough, i see extra gathers all the required information and takes care of the guild, i hope we'll get back more veterans

tips wont help to get ppl on one place,we just split up-some guys dont like magic,other stoped wow(who knows why),some of us -retail.....p servers are too unstable and guys lost desire from all this lvling again and again.....but ill join you if you just pick one server for all....the game is not fun without you guys....believe me

Yeah, WoW is just isnt that fun anymore. It's getting old.


One more year to go till d3 is out! That's what i have to look forward too.

Here are some tips to your question "...on how to make new members talk..." you cant "make" or expect people to talk. There are many reasons why new members don't talk.

Here are a few reasons:

1. They are new and therefore dont know anyone. There's a shy factor to consider.
2. They are busy, afk, doing quests, in another party
3. They hang out with people they are confortable with
4. They are waiting for you to talk to them first

To engage other members:

1. Even though you share a common ground being in the same guild, doesnt mean you automatically will like each other and expect to become buddy buddy right away.
2. It takes time to get to know someone
3. Private message them and get to know them 1on1. Find out their likes and dislikes. Soon as you find a common ground, conversations will overflow with new topics.
4. Do things together as a guild, like quests, pvp, arena
5. Invite them to the forum and introduce him/her to others or on the chatbox
6. Invite them to chat on MSN or voicecom
7. Treat them like a friend and they will do the same.
